Winsor McCay (født 26. september 1871, død 26. juli 1934) var en amerikansk illustratør, tegneserieskaper, avistegner og animatør.

Winsor McCay regnes som en pioner innen tegneserier og film. Han er særlig kjent for den veltegnede og grafisk interessante serien Little Nemo in Slumberland som gikk som søndagsserie i to New York-aviser fra 1905 til 1913. Han sto også bak Gertie the Dinosaur fra 1914, en av filmhistoriens første tegnefilmer.
Winsor McCay har påvirket flere generasjoner av tegnere og tegneserieskapere, deriblant Moebius, Chris Ware, William Joyce og Maurice Sendak.
