Platycypha is een geslacht van libellen (Odonata) uit de familie van de Juweeljuffers (Chlorocyphidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van dit geslacht is voor het eerst voorgesteld door Frederic Charles Fraser in een publicatie uit 1949.
