Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar (19 de octobre 1910 in Lahore, India – 21 de augusto 1995 in Chicago, SUA) esseva un astrophysico e ganiator del Premio Nobel.
In 1983 ille e Willam A. Fowler ha recipite le Premio Nobel pro Physica, Chandrasekhar pro su contributiones al comprehension del evolution stellar, includente le Limite de Chandrasekhar.
Su oncle, Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman alsi ha recipite le Premio Nobel pro Physica, in 1930.
