Mellstroy is the online alias of Andrey Aleksandrovich Burim, a Belarusian streamer and blogger known for a provocative, eccentric persona. He broadcasts livestreams on Twitch and Kick. In March 2024, he set a record in the post-Soviet states for the highest number of concurrent viewers on a live stream, with over 720,000. He first gained wide recognition in 2020 through broadcasts from the Moscow-City complex in Moscow.
Early career
Burim was born in Gomel, Belarus, in 1998 into a working-class family. As a teenager he built Minecraft servers and traded in-game items, and he later started posting gaming videos on YouTube. These early videos drew little attention, so he shifted toward live streaming and interactive, provocative content. Brought to prominence by prank-style broadcasts, he moved to Moscow in 2020, where he began advertising online casinos and building a large audience.
Legal trouble and comeback
In October 2020, Burim injured a woman during one of his streams, which led to a criminal case, the blocking of his YouTube channel, and a 2021 court sentence of correctional labor along with payments to the victim. His popularity declined in the following years. He returned with a comeback stream in December 2022 and later revived his audience through large social media contests in 2024. Since 2024 he has also been involved in charitable activities, and in October 2025 he launched his own online casino.
