Jean-Pascal Hohm (born 1997 in Ludwigsfelde) is a German politician of the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party. He has been a member of the Brandenburg state parliament since 2024 and became chairman of the AfD youth organization Generation Germany in November 2025. He studied economics for a time but did not complete his degree.
Party career
Hohm joined the AfD in 2014 and headed the now banned Young Alternative for Germany in Brandenburg between 2014 and 2016. Since 2021 he has chaired the party's district branch in Cottbus. Domestic intelligence reports describe him as closely connected to right-wing extremist and partly neo-Nazi networks. In 2024 he won a direct mandate for the Cottbus I constituency in the Brandenburg state election.
Controversies and extremism
Hohm has been linked to the Identitarian movement and has made statements the Brandenburg Office for the Protection of the Constitution classifies as right-wing extremist. In 2022 Cottbus police charged him with violating the Assembly Act over unregistered protests. Hohm denies being active within the Identitarian movement but has defended its activities as legitimate.
