Amelia Dimoldenberg is an English comedian, writer, and presenter. She is the creator and host of the web series Chicken Shop Date, in which she interviews celebrities in fried chicken restaurants while bringing a sarcastic, deadpan, and awkward sense of humour to the conversation. In 2025 she was named in Time magazine's inaugural TIME100 Creators list of the most influential digital content creators.
Early life

Dimoldenberg was born in London on 30 January 1994 and raised in Marylebone. She attended St Marylebone School and later studied fashion communication at Central Saint Martins, part of the University of the Arts London, graduating in 2017. She received an honorary fellowship from the same institution in 2024.
Chicken Shop Date
Chicken Shop Date began as a column for The Cut, a publication based at a youth club on Harrow Road in London. Her interest in grime music led her to interview grime artists, and she framed the interviews as dates held in a chicken shop, a place she described as somewhere one would not usually go on a date. The first filmed episode, featuring grime MC Ghetts, appeared in March 2014. In September 2026 she announced that the series would come to an end.
Television and other work
Dimoldenberg has presented several television programmes, including the Channel 4 documentary Meet the Markles and the web shorts series Celebrity Rebrand. She has served as a red carpet correspondent for the Academy Awards and has reported on other award ceremonies. She runs a production company, Dimz Inc Ltd, and has worked as a brand ambassador for several companies.
